Mashkova has lived with her family in America for several years. According to the actress, her husband had a successful career abroad so they decided to move with their daughter. Before starting SVO, the actress flew to Russia to film, but then abandoned all projects. At the end of September 2025, Mashkova expressed gratitude to the audience who watched her play “Nadezhdins” from Russia and Ukraine in the video version. She promised to return to these countries with a live performance.
