Italy's Piaggio Aerospace, which joins Baykar, has received its first P.180 Avanti EVO order from Türkiye.
In a statement by Piaggio Aerospace, the agreement was announced at NBAA-BACE, the business jet expo held in Las Vegas.
According to the statement, Piaggio Aerospace has received a new order from a Turkish company for 2 P.180 Avanti EVO aircraft. The aircraft will be used in service and ambulance configurations.
This agreement reaffirms the continued appeal of the Avanti EVO's combination of speed, efficiency and operational flexibility. The first two Avanti EVO aircraft sold to Türkiye will be equipped for executive transport and air ambulance missions. This choice also reflects the growing demand for multi-purpose platforms in the regional aviation industry. In his assessment on the subject, Giovanni Tomassini, Senior Director of Piaggio Aerospace, said: “This order consolidates the strong international position of the Avanti EVO. We are building a new future for Piaggio Aerospace with the full support of the new owner, Baykar. This contract is a concrete indicator of customer confidence in both our aircraft and our role in the business jet market.”
