Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz spoke on NTV's special broadcast.
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz was a guest of NTV.
During his special broadcast, Yılmaz answered Ankara Representative Ahmet Ergen's questions about Türkiye and the World agenda.
Highlights of Cevdet Yılmaz's statement are as follows:
(Regulations related to retirees) Our SSK and retired civil servants receive salary increases according to regulations. We do not need to introduce any additional regulations. However, the minimum retirement requirement is a logical approach to social support. These regulations are implemented according to inflation differentials. This increase in the monthly minimum wage must be implemented in accordance with the law. Impact assessments are carried out before decisions are made on these issues. The budget and its impact on resources are assessed and located. The final decision rests with our Congress. These will be over in a short time. I would say that we support retirees by maximizing their potential. We don't have inflation.
(US operations in Venezuela) We take a stand in favor of international law and global justice. On the other hand, as Türkiye, we support diplomacy and keep channels open with all sides. Leadership here is very important. Responsible, experienced leadership becomes very important. Here it is necessary to recall the astute and experienced leadership of our President. We will continue to stand with the Venezuelan people, we wholeheartedly demand an environment that meets their needs.
(Global Economy) It indicates a new formation in the world's global economy. This has increased uncertainty and risk. The result of all this is that growth rates around the world are below historical averages. We are talking about a transaction that is below growth. We see that although inflation has decreased, it is still a global problem in the world.
