
26 people, including actor Doğukan Güngör, manager Haluk Şentürk and singer Alya Şahinler, were detained as part of a drug investigation against celebrities.
A new wave of drug investigations against celebrities has emerged.
Doğukan Güngör, who played Fatih in the TV series Kızılcık Şerbeti, manager Haluk Şentürk and singer Alya Şahinler were detained.
Detention orders were issued for 26 people based in Istanbul, Izmir, Denizli and Muğla for the crimes of “Possession of drugs or stimulants for use”, “Facilitating the use of drugs” and “Encouraging a person to engage in prostitution, facilitating it or acting as an intermediary or providing a place for prostitution”.
A simultaneous operation was carried out by the police at 1:00 pm to arrest the suspects.
In its statement, the Chief Prosecutor's Office announced that 23 suspects, including Güngör, were detained, two suspects were abroad and one suspect was in prison for another crime.

Binnur Buse Alper, Merve Eryiğit, Özge Bitmez, Veysel Avcı, Sevgi Taşdan, Sedef Selen Atmaca, Arif Altunbulak, Doğukan Güngör, Burak Altındağ, Gizem Özköroğlu, Gülsüm Bayrak, Saniye Deniz, Merve Uslu, Ece Cerenbeli, Berna Çözüm, Bülent Tetik, Lerna Elmas, Ceren Yıldırım, Gözde Anuk, Duygu Yıldırım, Nevin Şimşek, Hakan Yıldız, Muzaffer Yıldırım, Koray Beşli, Alya Şahinler.
CELEBRITY'S MANAGER IS ALSO DETENTED
Haluk Şentürk, the manager of many famous names such as singers Hadise and Aşkın Nur Yengi, was also detained as part of the drug investigation.
Within the same scope of investigation, many famous names were arrested and 17 people were arrested.
DRUG INVESTIGATION ON CELEBRITIES
Many operations have been carried out since October 8 in the drug investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Prosecutor's Office against celebrities. Musicians, managers and businessmen, many famous names, took blood and hair samples for testimony and drugs.
There are also people arrested within the scope of the investigation.
Actress İrem Sak, social media phenomenon Danla Bilic, Mümine Senna Yıldız and singer Aleyna Tilki were detained in the simultaneous operation carried out at 7 addresses in Sarıyer, Eyüpsultan, Şişli, Üsküdar, Bakırköy and Esenyurt on December 18.
Suspects Sak, Bilic, Tilki and Yıldız were released after blood and hair samples were taken.
Singer Yusuf Güney and actress Melisa Döngel were among those released after taking samples for testimony and testing. Şeyma Subaşı, whose arrest warrant had been issued, was released on condition of judicial control following her detention upon her return to the United States.
There are also arrest warrants for Şevval Şahin, Mert Vidinli and Kasım Garipoğlu. Ultimately, the assets of these suspects were confiscated.
The subjects were charged with buying, storing, and using drugs and stimulants.
