Transfer applications have begun at some universities. It was found that tuition fees of some private universities have decreased by 90% compared to the beginning of the semester.
Horizontal transfer applications at private universities have begun.
Foundation universities, not wanting their quotas to be left vacant, have reduced tuition fees for the horizontal transition period. Some offer 50% off, some up to 90% off.
A junior university in Istanbul reduced its law lecturer tuition, which was 691 thousand liras for the first registration period, to 75 thousand liras for lateral transfer.
BEWARE OF OPPORTUNISTS!
Education expert Muhammet Tosun, in his statement to NTV, stated that the remaining quotas of universities were not filled with additional positions.
Tosun said, “If quotas are not filled through lateral transfers, they cannot be filled any other way.” he said.
Tosun warns against opportunists during the transfer period and says: “Students can do the transfer procedure themselves. They do not need to receive any services regarding paperwork and registration.” he said.
HOW IS HORIZONTAL TRANSFER PERFORMED?
The horizontal transfer can be done based on the student's average score at his own university or by the central score, that is, the results he received from the university exam.
If the specified conditions are met, the requested documents can be collected and submitted to the desired university.
Students can get information about transfer times and fees by contacting their desired universities.
Fees can be found out by contacting schools directly.
