
A decision to facilitate mutual visa issuance was made between Türkiye and Armenia. Diplomatic, official and special passport holders of the two countries will be issued free electronic visas from January 1, 2026.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that a decision was made between Türkiye and Armenia to facilitate the issuance of visas to holders of official passports of the two countries.
Accordingly, holders of diplomatic, official and special passports of the two countries will be granted free electronic visas from January 1, 2026.
The following statements were made in the State Department's statement:
“Within the framework of the agreement reached between the Special Representatives of Türkiye and Armenia on the Normalization Process, Türkiye and Armenia decided to facilitate the visa procedure for holders of diplomatic, official and special passports.
Diplomatic, official and special passport holders of the two countries will be issued free electronic visas from January 1, 2026.
“On this occasion, Türkiye and Armenia once again affirmed their commitment to continue the normalization process between the two countries without any preconditions, with the goal of full normalization.”
