According to a statement by the General Directorate of Meteorology, snowfall will begin from the west of the region in the early morning hours of Monday, December 29, will increase in impact over time, and is expected to fall moderately heavy in Şanlıurfa, south and east of Diyarbakır, Batman, Bitlis, Siirt and Van, and dense and sometimes intense in Mardin, Şırnak and Hakkari.

According to a statement by the General Department of Meteorology, it is estimated that snowfall will be thick and sometimes heavy (over 20 cm) in the area around Zonguldak, Düzce, Bartın, Bolu, Karabük, Kastamonu and northwest of Sinop.
It is estimated that precipitation will begin as rain in coastal areas and gradually change to sleet and snow.
