The prosecution statement of Sultan Nur Ulu, who was placed under 'house arrest' in the scope of the investigation into the death of singer Güllü, has been revealed. While Ulu claimed that he saw his daughter Tuğyan hug her mother's leg and make her fall, Tuğyan claimed that Ülker Gülter threatened her.
Singer Gül Tut, known by the nickname 'Güllü', died by falling from the window of his house in a 6-story building on Vali Akı Street, Harmanlar District, Çınarcık District, on September 26. Güllü, whose autopsy was performed within the scope of the investigation launched by the Yalova Chief Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident, was buried in Istanbul.
After technical and physical surveillance, the daughter of singer Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, who spoke otherwise in 3 previous speeches, and her friend Sultan Nur Ulu, were arrested by the police and detained in Istanbul, where they took suitcases with them. While Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter was arrested for 'intentional murder', the testimony of Sultan Nur Ulu, who received a 'house arrest' order, was revealed at the prosecutor's office.
“We had a good time together”
Describing the day of the incident in his statement, Sultan Nur Ulu said, “When we got home, Mother Gül was at home. We were all chatting together. Tuğyan went inside to talk to Kervan. Kervan was Tuğyan's lover. However, they also had a religious marriage. We turned off the film because Mother Gül was disturbed when Tuğyan went inside to talk on the phone. She did not see any problem with Tuğyan's talking on the phone. However, she did not like herself very much. Mother Gül said, “I did not witness that he had problems with Kervan. After filming, we had a good time together and played music, while Tuğyan was with us.” he affirmed.
“We are dancing to the music that is playing”
Saying that they danced to the music, Ulu said, “Then we went to the room with Tuğyan. We went to the living room in the middle. While I was in the room, Tuğyan entered the room. We were dancing and the music was playing. Suddenly, Tuğyan asked me to turn on the music called 'Malkara'. As soon as I turned on the music, Gül Anne came in and started playing with us. She tried to show me how to play 'Malkara'. Then I looked in the mirror and looked at the scars and stitches on my face.” “I turned around. Meanwhile, Tuğyan and his mother continued to play. We were playing on the other side of the room. Then, Mother Gül walked behind me, between Tuğyan and the bed. At that time, I was looking at the scar on his face when a flash light went on.” expressed his accusations.
“I SAW THE MOMENT OF COLLAPSE
Stating that singer Güllü's face was turned towards the glass, Ulu said that he saw the moment she fell and continued his statement as follows:
“The first time I looked in the mirror, there was a dialogue going on between Tuğyan and his mother. Those dialogues were the ones played to me from the recording. When I turned my head towards them, I saw Mother Gül's face turned out the window, slightly bent down as if she were looking out the window. I saw Tuğyan embracing his mother's legs from behind, under the hips, and pulling himself slightly upwards. Immediately after Tuğyan pulled his mother in such a way there, his mother fell. I saw the moment of falling. While Mother Gül was falling, “I didn't hear any words like 'Come on, see you later' or 'Goodbye'.”
Stating that Tuğyan gave great reactions, Ulu also made the following statements:
“After that, Tuğyan shouted 'Run' and pretended to cry. I followed him. At that time, Tuğyan came out with a violent reaction and cried. I couldn't react because of shock. Then, they took us to the hospital. Then, they planned to transfer Tuğyan to another hospital. Tuğyan turned to me and said: 'He will come too' and we went in the same ambulance. About half an hour later, we went home in Çınarcık with the same people. When we got home, Tuğyan's brother Tuğberk moved to the house in Çınarcık.”
“I CAN'T SPEAK BECAUSE I'M AFRAID”
Stating that he could not confess what happened because he was scared, Ulu said:
“Because they were a strong family, I couldn't tell anyone what I witnessed about Güllü's death. People asked me what happened, but I couldn't tell anyone anything. Because I didn't know what Tuğyan would do to me during this process, I didn't leave them, worried that he might blame me. During this process, when we were alone with Tuğyan, he told me, 'If I get burned, we'll both get burned.' The reason Tuğyan said this to me was because he pushed his mother. “The only reason I stayed with Tuğyan after these events and went to Istanbul together was because I thought he shouldn't be alone.”
“The reason for the murder could be resentment from a young age.”
Ulu also said that the reason Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter killed his mother could have been due to resentments he had experienced since childhood, and made the following allegations in his statement:
“We never made a plan with Tuğyan to kill Güllü. Everything was normal on the day of the incident. It happened suddenly and completely. I never saw Tuğyan using drugs. However, I heard that he had been using drugs for a long time. This is all I know about the murder of Tuğyan's mother. Today, after telling the truth, I feel relieved. I do not accept the accusations against For these reasons, I request to be released without the terms of judicial control being imposed on me.”
His daughter denied the allegations
Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, who was arrested, denied the allegations in his statement, saying he did not know how the incident took place.
Gülter said that on the day of the incident, he and his friend Sultan Nur Ulu were at his mother's house in Çınarcık, where they had dinner and watched movies in the evening. Stating that his mother drank alcohol while watching the movie, Gülter claimed that she drank about 3.5 bottles of wine.
In his statement, Gülter said that he went to his room for a while and had a video chat with his fiancée, when he returned to the living room, his mother and Ulu continued watching a movie, then they started having fun by playing music.
Gülter said she heard a loud “pop” while they were dancing in the room, and when she couldn't see her mother, she ran down the stairs in panic, saying, “I don't know how my mother fell. I turned my back. I couldn't push her or lift her up.” he said.
Stating that he did not accept the claims against Sultan Nur Ulu, Gülter argued that there was no hostility between them and that Ulu supported him in the process. Claiming that Ulu was nervous due to drug testing, Gülter asserted that the claims against him could have been brought for this reason.
VOICE RECORDINGS HAVE BEEN APPEARED
Indoor security camera footage from Güllü's house was sent to TÜBİTAK for audio analysis.
In the recording sent to TÜBİTAK for analysis, Gülter's voice saying “I will throw you away now” was clarified.
It was determined that Gülter, who was said to have thrown his mother out the window after the fight, said “Goodbye, see you later” after Güllü fell.
