Police in Istanbul have arrested 10 members of a new generation motorcycle criminal organization who were identified in connection with various shootings.
The Istanbul Police Department carried out an operation in seven districts against new generation criminal motorcycle organizations, which have recently emerged with various attacks. 10 suspects were found to have committed crimes such as “establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes, serious robbery, attempted murder – attempted murder, extortion, destruction of property, intentionally endangering public security, threats” were arrested.
It was reported that detained individuals committed acts such as stealing motorbikes, shooting at workplaces, vehicles and homes, and injuring people in Şişli, Başakşehir, Bakırköy, Ümraniye, Beşiktaş, Kadıköy and Üsküdar districts.
During the search performed during operation; Stolen motorbikes, helmets and unlicensed weapons used in the shooting were seized.
