In his speech, Erdoğan emphasized that global vulnerabilities are increasing. The President said, “As Türkiye, we are working with all our strength to bring about peace and dialogue, with an awareness of the responsibility given by our history, geography and civilization.” he said.

“There SHOULD BE A PERMANENT STOP IN GAZA”
Claiming that Israel's ceasefire violations in Gaza continue, Erdoğan emphasized that there needs to be a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. “We consider it essential for the Palestinians to participate and contribute to all stages of establishing peace. The ultimate goal is a two-state solution. A ceasefire that continues despite Israeli violations is fragile. Therefore, the international community's strong support for this process is necessary and must continue,” the President said. he said.
ERDOĞAN AND PUTIN GO TO COMPETITION
In the morning, Erdoğan attended a wreath-laying ceremony at the Neutrality Monument with invited heads of state and government, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkiyan.
President Erdoğan accompanied Russian President Vladimir Putin at the ceremony in the capital Ashgabat. Erdoğan is also expected to meet Putin today.
The Russia-Ukraine war is on the meeting's agenda.
After the welcoming ceremony at the airport, Erdoğan also met with the Chairman of the Ministry of Public Affairs of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
