Police opened fire during a drug raid in Çekmeköy, Istanbul. While a police officer was seriously injured, one of the attackers was killed.
The Governor of Istanbul announced that a drug operation was carried out at a house on Adnan Kahveci Street in Çekmeköy in the morning.
Police officer Emre Albayrak, who was on duty at the Special Operations Branch Directorate, was seriously injured by the shooting at police teams from inside the house during the operation.
Treatment for the hospitalized police officer continues.
The attacker has been destroyed
The governor announced that the 35-year-old RA, who carried out the attack, was killed in the conflict and that Ç.A. and announced that the CA had been captured alive.
