A 10-year-old child of Syrian nationality, wanted missing in Reyhanlı district of Hatay, was pulled from the ground, where his body was partially buried, injured and taken to the hospital.
District Gendarmerie Command teams continue their search efforts for AA, whose family living in Kurtuluş District reported him missing 2 days ago.
The teams checked security camera records and determined that AA was brought to the vicinity of Reyhanlı dam by his ME uncle.
The child was found in a field in the Mehmetbeyli area during work supported by search and rescue teams affiliated with Humanitarian Aid and Human Rights (IHH).
He missed it after school
The child, who was partially buried in the ground and suffered head injuries from being beaten, was taken to Reyhanlı State Hospital by the medical team.
After the first intervention there, AA was transferred to Hatay Mustafa Kemal University Research and Application Hospital.
The child the search and rescue team spoke to said he was kidnapped and beaten by his uncle after school.
ARREST
The suspect, who was detained by the gendarmerie, was arrested by the magistrate to whom he was transferred to the court after the ME procedure. It is known that the 30-year-old ME has a criminal record for “negligence”.
MORE THAN 200 CAMERAS WATCHED
While the moments when the boy's uncle took AA with him were captured on security cameras, police teams reportedly reviewed 200 camera images to find traces of the child.
Although the uncle, who was filmed with his nephew in a car on the dam road, said he did not know about his nephew, the police, AFAD, gendarmerie and NGOs began searching the area. Thanks to the efforts of the teams, the missing child was found two days later, buried in the ground with a head wound.
