The Öztürk family's 1.5-year-old son Efe Öztürk and their 5-year-old daughter Doğa Öztürk, who were returning home after Sunday in Ankara's Etimesgut district, were attacked by a pitbull in their opposite apartment.
The dog first attacked the boy's face and then the girl's chest. Receiving notice from the building's residents, medical teams and police were dispatched to the scene. The injured children were taken by medical teams to Bilkent City Hospital.
