Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the launch of Poland's first satellite into space. He announced this on social networks X.

He noted that the military's Micro SAR and PIAST program satellites were launched on Falcon 9 rockets.
“For him, it's just 500 kilometers. For Poland, this is a big leap into the future,” the politician noted.

Previously, Minister of Finance and Regional Policy of the Republic Katarzyna Pelczynska-Nalencz said that Poland plans to launch the first reconnaissance spacecraft in 2025. She noted that the satellites will strengthen the intelligence gathering capabilities of the Polish Armed Forces. The project is being carried out together with the Polish company Creotech Instruments.
