
A chain accident involving 12 vehicles occurred on the Tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep Highway. 13 people were injured.
The accident occurred at around 6:30 p.m. between the western and northern sections of the Gaziantep Tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep (TAG) Highway. It is known that the chain traffic accident occurred with 12 vehicles including cars, light commercial vehicles, pickup trucks and trucks on slippery roads after heavy rain.
While the situation became a war zone after the accident, many medical, fire, police and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. Teams arriving at the scene took 13 people, including two seriously injured in the accident, to different hospitals in downtown Gaziantep after providing first aid.
THE WEST AND NORTH HIGHWAY SECTIONS ARE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC
After the terrible accident, traffic flow between the western and northern sections of the highway was completely stopped to prevent new negativity. Traffic flow in the direction of Gaziantep-Adana and Gaziantep-Şanlıurfa on the highway is directed to the D-400 highway.
An investigation has been launched into the accident.
