
Mehmet Temiz, who fell ill and had difficulty breathing in the historic bathhouse in Amasya, died in an ambulance while being taken to the hospital.
The incident occurred at around 2:00 p.m. at the historic Ottoman-era bathhouse. Mehmet Regular (73 years old), who came to the bath as a customer and had heart disease, fell ill some time later with difficulty breathing. After receiving the notice, medical teams and police were dispatched to the scene.
Regular, who received first aid in the bathtub, died when taken by ambulance to Amasya University's Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin Training and Research Hospital. Regular's lifeless body was taken to the hospital morgue. The exact cause of Regular's death will be determined after an autopsy.
