
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced that Antalya broke the record for the number of visitors in October 2025 with a post on his social account.
Antalya, the tourism capital of the Mediterranean, welcomed 2 million 216 thousand 554 foreign tourists in October 2025, an increase of 8% year-on-year, reaching an all-time high in the number of visitors in October.
The country sending the most tourists to Antalya in a month is Germany with 639 thousand 445 tourists. While the Russian Federation ranked second with 583 thousand 4 tourists, England ranked third with 182 thousand 201 tourists.
Followed by the UK is Poland with 140 thousand 829 visitors, the Netherlands with 65 thousand 233 visitors, Lithuania with 50 thousand 920 visitors, Ukraine with 48 thousand 904 visitors, Switzerland with 39 thousand 276 visitors, Belarus with 24 thousand 729 visitors and Denmark with 24 thousand 79 visitors.
Compared to the same period last year, Germany increased by 8%, the Russian Federation increased by 12%, Poland increased by 6%, Lithuania increased by 14%, Ukraine increased by 17% and Switzerland increased by 5%. These increases demonstrate Antalya's strong position and diverse demand in different markets.
93 thousand 403 foreign tourists entered Antalya Airport international terminal on Saturday, October 4. This number was recorded as the highest number of daily visitors so far in October.
EXCEEDED 16 MILLION DURING JANUARY – OCTOBER PERIOD
According to data for the first 10 months of 2025, the total number of foreign visitors to Antalya increased by 176 thousand 884 over the same period last year and reached 16 million 308 thousand 937.
During this period, the Russian Federation ranked first among the countries welcoming the most tourists with 3 million, 889 thousand, 889 people. Germany ranked second with 3 million 342 thousand 550 people and England ranked third with 1 million 475 thousand 24 people.
Followed by the UK is Poland with 1 million 248 thousand 756 visitors, the Netherlands with 453 thousand 867 visitors, Ukraine with 413 thousand 28 visitors, Romania with 410 thousand 667 visitors, Kazakhstan with 368 thousand 255 visitors, the Czech Republic with 287 thousand 381 visitors and Lithuania with 242 thousand 399 visitors.
