

In the Australian town of Coonabarabran (New South Wales), 19-year-old Jacob Thompson was hospitalized with burns to 32% of his body after a brutal attack. According to police, the incident occurred on the evening of October 13, when the teenager was attacked by three people on Cowper Street.
According to evidence, one of the attackers poured a flammable liquid on Jacob and burned him. Thanks to the intervention of witnesses, the fire was quickly extinguished, but the young man suffered severe third-degree burns and injuries to his face, body, arms and legs.
Jacob's condition remains extremely serious – he was taken to Concord Hospital in Sydney, where he was placed in an induced coma and hooked up to life support. Family is always by his side.
Law enforcement said they arrested three suspects: a 45-year-old woman, a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl. The two adults were charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and were refused bail.
