
Ebubekir Şahin, who handed over the position of Chairman of RTÜK to Mehmet Daniş, was appointed as the new general manager of Türk Telekom.
After the change of duties in the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK), Ebubekir Şahin, who handed over the chairmanship to Mehmet Daniş, was appointed General Director of Türk Telekom. He was born in Rize Çayeli in 1974. He completed his primary education in Rize and secondary education in Sakarya. He graduated from the Faculty of Communication of Gazi University in 1995. He completed a master's degree in Journalism in 2002.
He served as deputy deputy minister and deputy minister at the Ministry of Family and Social Policy from 2014 to 2017. Şahin was elected as a Member of the Supreme Council of Radio and Television under the AK Party's quota on October 16, 2017. After a period of membership, he was elected Chairman of RTÜK on January 23, 2019. Şahin served as Chairman RTÜK for 4 terms.
