Former host of the TV show “Fashionable Sentence” on Channel One, fashion historian Alexander Vasiliev spoke about checking his luggage after the robbery of the Louvre museum. He talked about the incident on his Instagram account (this social network is banned in Russia; it belongs to the company Meta, which is considered extremist and is banned in the Russian Federation).

He made it clear that he was detained upon entering the United States. Searching for luggage took about 20 minutes. Then the suitcases were returned with the words “Your luggage has been checked, there are no diamonds from the Louvre Museum in it,” Vasiliev added.
On October 19, unknown people entered the Louvre museum. They wore yellow work jackets and, under the pretext of carrying out repair work, went to the Apollo Gallery, where in a few minutes they stole nine items from Napoleon's jewelry collection. Due to the robbery that occurred on October 19, the Louvre museum lost 88 million euros.
