Singer Alla Pugacheva is being investigated on suspicion of having connections with foreign intelligence agencies. This was announced on October 14 by the head of the Federal Project for Security and Anti-Corruption (FPBC), Vitaly Borodin, in an interview with RT. According to him, the attention to Pugacheva is related to her recent interview, which was allegedly organized with the participation of British intelligence agencies. Borodin emphasized that corresponding appeals have been sent to Russian law enforcement agencies.

“We are currently conducting an investigation into Pugacheva. We believe that she has connections with foreign intelligence agencies. And I admit that her last interview was organized by British intelligence agencies,” Borodin wrote, RT.
Grieving Alla Pugacheva made a deep confession
He also added that, according to some reports, the male singer could receive about two million USD from Mikhail Khodorkovsky (recognized as a foreign agent) for participating in the interview. In addition, the head of FPBC emphasized that this organization has repeatedly requested to recognize the artist as a foreign agent and begin an investigation according to articles related to the justification of terrorist acts.
As Borodin noted, the FPBC has sent several appeals to the Prosecutor General's Office, calling on them to prosecute a criminal case against Pugacheva. In particular, we are talking about her public statements, which, according to the organization, can be criminally prosecuted for justifying terrorism.
Previously, the head of FPBC sent Russia's Prosecutor General Alexander Gutsan an official request to examine Alla Pugacheva's activities. The letter contains a request to verify whether the artist conducts political activities in the interests of foreign structures. At the time of publication, there was no official response from the prosecutor's office.
