The TFF Arbitration Board has approved a 6-match ban for Sakaryaspor football player Caner Erkin.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Referee Board has approved a six-match ban and a fine of 134 thousand lira for Sakaryaspor football player Caner Erkin. According to the TFF statement, they decided to approve a 6-match ban and a total fine of 134 thousand liras for the 36-year-old football player, 4 of which were given for violent behavior towards teammates and 2 of which were given for unsportsmanlike behavior towards match referees. Galatasaray's fine of 500 thousand lira and partial closure of the stadium due to bad and unkind cheering as well as incidents on the field caused by fans were also approved. The Council decided to approve the penalty of partial closure of the stadium due to the bad and unkind cheering of TÜMOSAN Konyaspor fans. In addition, the board of directors approved a fine of 220 thousand liras for the partial closure of the stadium and incidents on the field due to bad and unkind cheering by Samsunspor fans.
