
It's raining in most parts of the country today. Air temperature will drop 6-9 degrees in the North and Central regions. In the new week, rain will turn to snow in the Central and Eastern regions.
According to data from the General Department of Meteorology (MGM), today's air temperature will decrease from 6 to 9 degrees in the northern and inland areas.
According to estimates; Rain is expected in Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Black Sea, northwestern Eastern Anatolia, Ardahan, Ağrı, Bitlis, Şırnak, Hakkâri, Muş, Gaziantep, Siirt and northern Van districts.
Rainfall is expected to be heavy in Bursa, Yalova, northern Balıkesir, Hatay, Adana, Osmaniye and western Kahramanmaraş with generally rain and showers; Snow is expected in the northeastern regions of Central Anatolia, in the interior of the Western and Eastern Black Sea Region, as well as in the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.
STRONG WIND WARNING
Strong storms with speeds up to 60 km/h are expected during the day in Marmara, Aegean, Western and Central Black Sea.
MGM warns that avalanche danger continues in areas within the Eastern Black Sea Region and heavily snow-covered slopes in Eastern Anatolia.
Temperatures will continue to drop into the new week. The rains that affected the Northern and Southeast provinces on Tuesday will spread across the country on Wednesday. Precipitation will include rain in the Western and Southern provinces and snow in the Central and Eastern regions.
