The body of a newborn baby was found by workers working on the sorting line of a solid waste treatment facility in Izmir. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
The incident occurred at the Bergama Integrated Solid Waste Management Facility operating in the Armağanlar district of Bergama district.
According to available information, at about 10:40 p.m. on February 7, workers working on the waste classification belt at the facility noticed that among the waste on the belt was a baby.
During the examination, it was determined that the body found on the video was that of a newborn baby boy and that the baby had died.
After being informed, gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. It is known that the investigation into the incident continues.
