
The assets of Muzaffer Yıldırım, owner of Bebek Hotel, were confiscated by decision of the Istanbul 8th Peace Criminal Court on the grounds that their origin was from criminal proceeds.
The assets of Muzaffer Yıldırım, the owner of Bebek Hotel, who was arrested in the investigation of drugs and prostitution against celebrities, were confiscated according to the decision of the 8th Peace Criminal Court of Istanbul.
Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Prosecutor's Office, the Criminal Investigation Department for the Prevention of Terrorist Financing and Money Laundering, it should be noted that there are serious signs that the assets of suspect Muzaffer Yıldırım, owner of Bebek Hotel, were obtained from criminals and that the income in question was laundered. As part of the investigation, Yıldırım's assets were confiscated within the scope of the “Law on Prevention of Laundering of Proceeds of Crime”.
The Office of the Chief Prosecutor noted that the investigation is continuing in a meticulous and multifaceted manner.
HIDDEN CAMERA DEVICE FOUND IN THE VIP ROOM
Gendarmerie teams searched the Bebek hotel within the scope of a drug and prostitution investigation initiated by the Istanbul Chief Prosecutor's Office and former Habertürk Editor-in-Chief Mehmet Akif Ersoy was detained.
The hotel search process discovered drugs and equipment related to drug use.
In the investigation file, there is also content that hidden camera equipment was found and checked in 6 VIP rooms in the hotel.
It is said that a notebook seized by the gendarmerie contained the names of more than 30 businessmen who attended gambling parties. It was also said that when these people arrived at the Bebek Hotel, they attended parties of up to 50 people, with invitations in their names, then stayed in VIP rooms.
Sabah newspaper reported that gendarmes seized many images recorded by hidden cameras along with digital and written documents at a luxury residence in Şişli, which was searched in the same investigation as Bebek Hotel. It was claimed that flash drives containing images taken during the search were found in the house where Muzaffer Yıldırım lived. It was also revealed that most of the digital documents were encrypted.
Within the scope of the investigation, 19 people, including Muzaffer Yıldırım, owner of Bebek Hotel, are being detained.
