
The State Council will review the conduct of members of the judiciary. In this context, an Ethics Committee will be established within the State Council.
The State Ethics Board Council will be established to make advisory decisions on compliance with ethical values in the conduct of members of the judiciary.
“Internal regulations on amending the Rules of the State Council” drafted by the Chairman of the State Council were published in the Official Gazette.
DECISIONS WILL BE MADE AS RECOMMENDATIONS
Accordingly, the Council of the State Ethics Committee was established to make advisory decisions on compliance with acts or possible acts of the Council of Heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its members, prosecutors, and investigative judges with ethical values.
THE BOARD SHALL CONSIST OF SEVEN MEMBERS
The board shall consist of seven members, five of whom are department heads or members, one prosecutor and one investigating judge, and an equal number of alternate members. Members will serve for 2 years.
Council members will be elected by the General Assembly of the Council of State. The council will be chaired by the highest-ranking department head.
