Minister of the Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced in a statement on his social network account that an operation was carried out against drug traffickers, also known as drug traffickers, in Mersin, Çanakkale and Isparta.
Yerlikaya announced that 465 thousand drug pills were seized during the operations.
Minister Yerlikaya said, “Our targets in the operations are street dealers, also known as drug traffickers, who specifically target our youth, acting as agents of poison dealers and selling drugs in residential areas and streets through messaging programs and social media.” he said.
Emphasizing that the fight against drugs will continue with multi-layered, multi-dimensional determination, Yerlikaya said: “We are organizing activities to break every link of the supply chain, from drug crime organization leaders to traffickers.” he said.
