A surfer was attacked by a shark in Australia. This was reported by NSW police. The incident happened on Sydney's north shore. The victim was pulled out of the water by passersby and given first aid before doctors arrived. The young man was seriously injured in his leg and was taken to the emergency room. Doctors assessed his condition as critical. All beaches on Sydney's north shore are currently closed until further notice.
