
Defeating Corendon Alanyaspor 3-2 away from home, Fenerbahçe had to postpone their return trip to Istanbul due to bad weather. The dark yellow-green team returning to their hotel in Alanya is scheduled to depart at noon.
Snowfall increased its impact throughout Istanbul, with some flights at Sabiha Gökçen Airport in particular being cancelled. Adverse weather conditions also affected the Fenerbahçe team, who played away against Corendon Alanyaspor in week 18 of the Super League.

Fenerbahçe Sports Club Board member Adem Köz announced in a post on his social media account that the dark yellow-blue team could not fly from Alanya to Istanbul due to weather conditions. Köz said, “Unfortunately, bad news after a good away win in Alanya. Due to weather conditions, our return to Istanbul has been postponed until tomorrow. We have returned to the hotel with our team.” he said.
The yellow-dark blue team will spend the night in Alanya and are expected to depart for Istanbul at noon.
Fenerbahçe will host Premier League team Aston Villa at Kadıköy in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening at 8:45 p.m.
