Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko plunged into an ice hole at Epiphany.
This was reported by the Telegram channel “Pul First”.
“It was a First Men tradition to dip into an ice hole,” the publication said.
Next to Lukashenko in the video is his white Spitz dog, Umka.
Previously, the press service of Rospotrebnadzor, on the eve of Epiphany, announced who needed to be careful when swimming in the ice hole.
Meanwhile, Vice Chairman of the World Council of Russian People's Commissars (VRNS) and Chairman of the all-Russian public movement “Orthodox Russia” Mikhail Ivanov, in a conversation with RT, noted that swimming in icy water without faith and prayer has no spiritual benefits.
