Fraudsters copying the Ministry of Health's MHRS appointment system have defrauded patients wanting to make an appointment with a doctor. News: Deniz Tüysüz
Scammers know no boundaries. Fraudsters copied the Ministry of Health's appointment system, similar to the central doctor's appointment system (MHRS), blanking the credit card of the patient wanting to make a doctor's appointment and saying “You are fined” with a fake account.
Former news presenter and voice actor Murat Atıl also lost 11 thousand lira with this method.
“A COMPANY APPEARS FROM AFRICA”
Atıl, who withdrew 11 thousand liras from his credit card, said: “Maybe I went to the fake website called MHRS in that absent-minded state” and said: “They withdrew about 11 thousand TL for $258. It seemed like it was a company from Africa.”
Stating that he encountered a warning screen at MHRS, Atıl said, “I saw a warning on the warning screen, 'You have been fined for not making an appointment four times.' I didn't make an appointment and refused to go, saying 'Maybe there's a problem with the system, it's not important' and decided to take care of my affairs as soon as possible.
The scammers tried to withdraw money from Murat Atıl twice, but the second time they failed because the limit was insufficient.
Murat Atıl filed a criminal complaint and wrote a complaint to Cimer.
BE CAREFUL WHEN MAKING A DOCTOR APPOINTMENT!
The Ministry of Health does not impose such penalties on this issue. There is also a warning about MHRS fraud on the Ministry's official website.
